I know from things we've come to expect from certain "fundie" Baptists that they are generally narrow-minded when it comes to women in ministry - particularly the priesthood. My wife and I have experienced similar narrow-mindedness in Charismatic circles (a tradition we both came from), and my wife can get hopping mad with those fundies. I enjoy having a token fundy in our friend group. :) Just kidding. I think it is awesome that breadth of theological worldviews we have in our group and it makes for interesting and stretching conversations. If we always hung out with like-minded folks, we can get a little arrogant in our personal views and forget to be tolerant with one another. Guess I am old school. I did score at 50% Emergent/Postmodern, so maybe I can be a little bit cool too? You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us.
