Hey, thanks for the comment. I will have to take the quiz at home. I'm at work (oops!) and my browser won't open certain pages - the quiz was one of them. But, I'll be sure to let you know.

I took it from your "Brady" post (regarding your wedding) that you are Baptist. Or was it simply in a Baptist church? I would be interested to hear some of your thoughts. I know from things we've come to expect from certain "fundie" Baptists that they are generally narrow-minded when it comes to women in ministry - particularly the priesthood.

My wife and I have experienced similar narrow-mindedness in Charismatic circles (a tradition we both came from), and my wife can get hopping mad with those fundies. As youth pastors, we were both equally involved in the preaching among other things.

Grady - Of course you are cool. I enjoy having a token fundy in our friend group. :) Just kidding. I think it is awesome that breadth of theological worldviews we have in our group and it makes for interesting and stretching conversations. If we always hung out with like-minded folks, we can get a little arrogant in our personal views and forget to be tolerant with one another. PS - We'll work on the total depravity thing, you Purtian. :)

I scored as a Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 86%, followed close by a tie between Fundamentalist and Classic Liberal at 64%! Guess I am old school. I did score at 50% Emergent/Postmodern, so maybe I can be a little bit cool too?

You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.
